Why predicted customer value improves advertising signals

Advertising platforms optimize toward whatever you send them. Sending predicted value changes what they find.

Advertising platforms optimize toward whatever you send them. Send lowest-cost conversions and they find the cheapest conversions. Send predicted customer value and they point that same optimization at the customers worth acquiring.

The signal problem

Most conversion signals treat every new customer as equal. Customer value varies: some churn quickly, while others help a cohort pay back. A signal that ignores this difference points the platform toward conversion volume.

Sending a predicted-value signal

A value signal carries a forecast of what a customer may contribute. That requires forecasting what a customer is likely to be worth before the full revenue history exists, then returning that estimate to the platform. Optimization then favors the customers who actually contribute to payback.

How this connects to financing

Better signals improve the same cohort economics that financing depends on. The prediction and signal infrastructure sits in Atlas; the way those economics support non-dilutive capital is described on Capital.
